Recreation and Sports

There are two major ski resorts located within an hour and a half drive from Calgary. Sunshine Village resort and Lake Louise. Together, they boast 246 runs and over 7000 acres of trails, combined. In addition, Sunshine can receive thirty feet of snow each year. Another resort that is close to Calgary (81km) is Nakiska.  On the other hand if you’re looking for something close to home, then Canada Olympic Park is located within city limits.
